About our hair?

Our virgin hair is high quality human hair in which the cuticle layers flow in the same directions as the natural scalp. The unidirectional cuticles ensures the hair will lay flat, does not tangle, and maintains its natural luster for long periods of time.

 

Electric Cherry Hair's strict quality control process ensures each client receives the best premium hair without the hassles and worries. Our process includes sterilizing the hair in our moisturizing antibacterial solution, washing and conditioning the hair in our highly requested all organic treatment, allowing the hair to air dry, and inspecting each bundle for manufacturer errors. Only to ensure each of out clients receive the most electrifying virgin hair experience available.

Can the hair be colored?

Our virgin hair is easily dye-able. We now offer customized colors upon request for an additional charge of $25 per bundle and double processing specialty colors (i.e.blondes, blue, green, hot pink) for $35. Color orders are only accepted via phone or in person. Please allow 2-3 days additional processing time for colored hair.

Does the hair require any special products or care?

No, but we do recommend washing the hair with a paraben and sulfate free moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Conditioning the hair with a protein treatment once monthly is highly recommended since the hair no longer receives the same nutrients as on a scalp. Follow with a deep moisturizing conditioner to ensure the hair the hair does not become brittle or dry. Allow the hair to air dry after washing, otherwise heat setting the hair is also acceptable. Additionally, no oil is necessary on the hair, but if desired please use a light oil such as coconut, macadamia, or argan oil.

Can I cut the weft?

Yes, but to minimize any interruption to the manageability of the hair, we recommend not cutting the weft. However, if the weft must be cut please advise stylist to seal weft to avoid any unnecessary shedding. Weft sealers are available for purchase on our beauty supply page.

How much hair will I need to purchase?

For a full head sew-in of hair, 2 of our 3.8 oz. bundles are recommended for lengths up to 12"-16” .

For a full head sew-in of hair, 3-4 of our 3.8 oz. bundles are recommended for lengths over 18"-26".

For a full head sew-in of hair, 4-5 of our 3.8 oz. bundles are recommended for lengths over 28"-30"

Shipping and Handling

 Please allow 1 business days for the cleansing and processing of your order prior to shipment (Service not completed on rush orders). For non-stock or specialty items please allow 5-7 days for processing.

Standard Shipping: When selecting our free standard shipping, all items are mailed via USPS. Most orders are delivered within 7 to 10 days from the date of purchase. Free shippng is not available for International orders.

Ground Shipping: All ground orders are shipped via UPS ground or equivalent. Most orders are generally delivered 3-5 days from the date of shipment. Ground shipping on all purchases under $1000 are only $11.95.

Priority Shipping: All priority orders are shipped via UPS or equivalent. Most orders are generally delivered 1-3 days from the date of shipment. Priority shipping on all purchases under $1000 are only $21.95.

Overnight Shipping: All express orders placed by 3pm eastern standard time will be mailed the same day. Most orders are delivered via USPS Express mail in 1-2 business days. Overnight shipping for orders under $1000 are only $39.95. Please note non-stock or specialty items generally process in 5-7 days, and the express mailing option only applies to the shipping portion of your purchase. We cannot expedite the process for non-stock or specialty items. 

International Shipping:We also ship internationally, however all custom fees will be paid at the cost of the customer. Prices vary per location and will be calculated at purchase.

​Return Policy: We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Refunds are allowed within 3 days of receipt or purchase. Exchanges within 7 days of purchase. Hair must be returned in original condition sold. Please review all hair prior to installation. No refund or exchange will be issued for hair that has been previously installed or altered. Once the  returned  purchase or exchange has been received we will contact you by email or phone prior to issuing a refund or exchange.

 

Do you offer Valet Service?

​​We now offer salon valet services for orders placed 3 days prior to requested delivery time. We currently only deliver to the Metro Atlanta Area, Beverly Hills and Central Los Angeles salons with a confirmed establishment and hairstylist. Please call for more information.

Does Electric Cherry offer any discounts?​​

Yes, we currently offer a 15% discount  for licensed hair stylists, students, active service men and women of the military. A clear image of your professional cosmetology license, military ID, school ID, along with your state issued ID must be emailed to Info@electric-cherry.com or texted to (404) 200.4801 prior to purchase. A minimum purchase of 2 bundles is required for the applicable discount and a maximum of 6 bundles allowed per purchase. ( Not accepted with any additional coupons or discounts).
